I'm going to try this again! I should not have told anyone about this because as soon as I did I stopped blogging! I have not blogged since I told so it must be psychological for me to know that someone I know might read what I have written. Weird! I know! I really need to learn how to post pictures because I have some cute ones of Madalyn I could put up. Speaking of Madalyn she is as SWEET as ever! She is kind of sick right now. It feels like she has a low grade fever and she has a very runny nose. She has been really tired today too but other than that she was still in pretty good spirits. She has this game she likes to play right now that just cracks me up. My mom gave her some panties with the days of the week written on them and some different things like butterflies, flowers, kittens, etc. On each one. Well, she likes to take all of them out of her drawer and sit on my lap and go through all of them while I tell her the day of the week and she names all of the things she sees on it. She will yell, "Lets play the panty game!". So funny!

We had a good weekend at our Journey Launch Team Retreat last weekend. Madalyn had fun with everyone and on Sunday danced in the middle of the floor while her daddy was singing. She is not very shy anymore! She loved being with everyone and when she woke up in the mornings she would say, "I want to go see my friends". She is growing up so fast and I can't believe that she is about to be three!

I guess I will end here. Hopefully I will be back soon!

Yesterday was a good day. I finally got back to the gym and it felt GREAT to do some cardio again! Why does it take me so long to get back in the groove of working out again whenever we move or something big happens (like having a baby!)? I joined a gym that is just for women and I think I am really going to like that better. I am excited to start feeling healthy again!

I did a lot of cleaning yesterday which feels good! I don't know why it comes it bursts of cleaning frenzies for me. This is where I just get the bug and I clean all afternoon and into the evening. I wish I was a little more motivated to clean a little everyday and then it wouldn't take a whole day but I would get things done a little bit everyday! Something to work on I guess!

I am excited that in March I am going to host a Beth Moore study Living Beyond Yourself. I love this study!!! I did it about a year ago but there is so much to take in that I need/want to do it again. My mom got the DVD series last year for her birthday and is about to finish up the study she has had in Vancouver and then she will send it to me. My mom wants to get another one for her birthday this year and I think I am might suggest that she get Breaking Free. I have heard that it is a really good one but I have never done it. I think the LBY study is particularly appropriate for the Journey Church launch team women because I think we are all going to be "living WAY beyond ourselves" and we will desperately be needing to let the Spirit do its thing in spite of ourselves! Hopefully some of the launch team women will want to come!

Madalyn is as sweet as ever! She is still talking about her birthday party non-stop. She wants everything to be PINK! I think I will just go with a pink theme this year- a pink cake, pink balloons, pink favors, pink hats, a pink dress, etc. It should be a fun pink filled day! Madalyn got a guitar from Nan and papa for Christmas and everytime Malcolm gets his guitar out now she gets hers and plays along with him. She yells "I want a pick too" so she gets a pick like daddy and they play. I think she just might be a guitar player too! Her favorite songs are hallelujah and Blessed Be Your Name. It is sooooo sweet to hear her sing them! We sang them during service on Sunday and she was all excited dancing around and singing! She is already a little worshipper!

Well, I must have a lot more to say than I ever thought I would because this is already pretty long! I am surprised at how much I like doing this and actually look forward to posting. Hopefully it will continue so I can keep recording all of the sweet things my precious girl does everyday! See ya later!

I'M BACK!!!!

I am going to try and do this again! I think it will be important for my friends and family who I am away from to be able to keep up with what is going on in our lives. I am going to try and post fairly regularly for a month and then tell people about it!

This past weekend we stayed with one of Malcolm's cousins two kids and had a great time! It was fun but whoa what a difference between having onde child and having three! Sydney the little girl who is a little older than Madalyn would call Malcolm by his name so Madalyn started doing the same! "I want to hold Malcolm's hand!" "I want to go with Malcolm!" It was so funny to me! We took the three of them to McDonald's to eat and play (and get out of the house!) and in the girl's happy meals they got a little Strawberry Shortcake figure and she had lip gloss in her hat. They loved it and carried it around all day Sunday! Now, Madalyn loves Strawberry Shortcake. We had a fun time!

We are still trying to find a house we can afford down in the southeast where the church plant (Journey) is going to be. The market here is definetly not a buyers market! The Lord is going to have to send us the house special delivery because there is no way we can do it on our own! Hmmmm! Interesting last statement! When can we ever do anything on our own!? I am not really worried about it because he has ALWAYS provided so it will be exciting to see how it happens this time! I struggle with having peace and knowing that He will provide but not allowing myself to be too lackadaisical about it with my prayer life and such. Oh the tension between all of these things!

That was a pretty long one for me and I rather enjoyed it so maybe I can do this! Hopefully, I will be back soon!

My first post ever! I am starting my blog to just help sort through thoughts and feeling I am having and to mostly talk about my sweet little girl so I am remember the fun things she says and does every day. I guess I will see how this goes! I am not going to tell anyone about it which is kind of fun for me! :) I hope I can do this!!!!
